By these certifications all our business processes and services were examined and tested; each year they’ll be submitted to the inspection of the international certification Company.We analysed and optimized our Integrated Management System in order to respect the requirements of quality and environment regulation.
LWG GOLD MEDAL: F.L. LEATHER REACHES AN IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENT
We are pleased to announce that we obtained the prestigious GOLD certification in the Leather Working Group as proof of our commitment to reach high levels of qualitative standards respecting the environment. The protocol obtained by FL is the following: Commissioning Manufacturer Audit Protocol 1.0.3. The purpose of this protocol is to evaluate the environmental performance of a facility that subcontracts 100% of its leather production. The protocol is designed to audit a manufacturing system, covering both the commissioning manufacturer and subcontractors, that is equivalent to auditing a conventional leather manufacturer. The audit is specialized in several points, one of them is the traceability, which allows our items to be 87,8% traceable. Traceability is just one of the 11 aspects that were analysed and verified during the audit.
ENVIROMENT CERTIFICATION UNI EN ISO 14001 :2015
Design and production of finished leathers for footwear, leather goods and apparel through purchasing and selection, management of production, outsourcing and final quality controls, trimming and measurement.
In 2020, the company introduced an environmental management system certified in accordance with standard UNI EN ISO 14001:2015. The company is committed to controlling and reducing all environmental impacts deriving from its activity, guaranteeing compliance with the applicable mandatory requirements.
QUALITY CERTIFICATION UNI EN ISO 9001 :2015
Design and production of finished leathers for footwear, leather goods and apparel through purchasing and selection, management of production, outsourcing and final quality controls, trimming and measurement.
In compliance with ISO 9001:2015 certification, the company carries out and controls its entire production cycle and markets its products under its own direct liability. The company is committed to maintaining continuous improvement of its in-house organisational processes and production, guaranteeing the conformity of its products to customer requirements, to those applicable to the product and to the requirements established by the company itself.
STANDARD UNI EN 16484:2015
Leather – requirements for the determination of the origin of leather production - Cert-044-2020-MDO- ICEC.
In 2020 the company obtained the first Designation of Origin Certification for finished leather in compliance with UNI EN 16484:2015 "Determination of the origin of leather production”. The company guarantees its customers that the qualifying phases of the tanning process have been carried out in Italy, thus also ensuring the stylistic and innovative content, as well as the state-of-the-art technology and respect for the environment that characterise Italian production. Tannery customers will also be able to communicate to the market, in a way controlled by ICEC, that they have used certified Italian leather, through a special traceability scheme that foresees the issue of numbered labels to affix on the leather products.

Raw material traceability certification for fresh cowhides of Europe and Northern America origin.
ICEC – The Quality Certification Institute for Leather Area, granted F.L. LEATHER Srl the Raw Material Traceability Certification for fresh cowhides of Europe and Northern America origin. The certification that we have obtained attests our ability to trace (as far as possible) the chain of suppliers and dealers, up to the slaughterhouse and the stock farm. F.L. LEATHER Srl has therefore identified the way forward to ensure a controlled supply chain, both from the point of view of corporate social responsibility and respect for the environment and for the animal welfare. For us this certification is not an end, but a new beginning. With the aim of further improving, we will continue to work with full respect for human, the environment and animals.
REACH REGULATION
Herewith we confirm that all products manufactured by our company comply with the EU Regulation 1907/2006/EG. As well our suppliers confirm that the products, they produce on behalf of our orders contain no harmful chemicals and forbidden chemicals according to the European Regulations. We inform you that this declaration is valid just for the manufactures that we make and with our products, not for the next manufactures that you make.
ETHICAL CODE
The Company has decided to adopt a specific Code of Ethics and conduct in respect of human rights (hereinafter called the "Code of Ethics"), in order to confirm and turn into a document the principles of correctness, loyalty, integrity and transparency of conduct, of its way of working and of handling relationships both internally and towards third parties. All these subjects are therefore required to know the content of the Code of Ethics and to contribute to its implementation and to the dissemination of the principles developed therein. The rules contained in the Code of Ethics integrate the behaviour that the Recipients are required to observe by virtue of laws, both civil and criminal, current regulations, and the obligations provided for by collective bargaining. In no way can the conviction of acting for the benefit of F.L. Leather Srl justify the adoption of behaviours in contrast with these principles.
