Following recent trends in the world of fashion aimed at sustainability and traceability of raw materials, F.L. Leather Srl has decided to continue investing to ensure a controlled supply chain, both from the point of view of corporate social responsibility and respect for the environment and for the animal welfare.
Last month, we expanded the field of application of the traceability certification that we have including all the raw materials purchased from EUROPEAN and NORTH AMERICAN origin. Following the audit, ICEC (The Quality Certification Institute for Leather Area) granted F.L. LEATHER Srl the highest level of traceability with a score of 100/100. The certification that we have obtained attests our ability to trace (as far as possible) the chain of suppliers and dealers, up to the slaughterhouse and the stock farm into consideration of the animal welfare practices. We inform you that F.L. LEATHER has the following certifications currently active:
UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 – quality management system;
UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 – enviroment management system;
UNI EN 16484 :2015 – made in Italy, requirements for the determination of the origin of leather production;
UNI ISO/TS 17033 :2020 – Ethical Claim “We recover our skins from the food chain”;
Leather Working Group – Silver Medal – Protocol 1.0.0 LWG Commissioning Manufacturer.
Supplier to Zero – ZDHC Level 1 Foundational
By these certifications all our business processes and services were examined and tested; each year they’ll be submitted to the scrutiny of the international certification Company.
For us these certifications are not an end, but a new beginning. With the aim of further improving, we will continue to work with full respect for human, the environment and animals.
