APLF, Asia Pacific Leather Fair, confirms the edition on the dates already communicated: from March 30 to April 1, 2022. Considering the difficulties of the last two years, when the fair was repeatedly postponed and then cancelled due to the Covid, the confirmation that it will take place is a hopeful news.
This edition of the fair will not be held, as usual, in Hong Kong, but in an exceptional way, the event will move to the World Trade Center in Dubai. Dubai's position between Europe and Asia makes it a perfect place for the organization of an international fair such as APLF, whose mix of exhibitors and visitors is coming from 80 different countries. Dubai also offers an optimal set, considering the delicate situation in which we find ourselves: it has high levels of vaccinationed popolation and already hosted international events. The moving of APLF, however, is provisional and the natural location of the fair still remains Hong Kong.
APLF is an international exhibition of hides, accessories and components for operators in the sector. It takes place once a year and this year each company will have a stand of 9 square meters, in which they can present their FW 23 collection. More than 500 national and international exhibitors take part in the event, including tanneries and stylists, presenting the latest novelties on leather, addressed then to the footwear, leather goods and clothing sectors.
